Corporate Laboratory Manager
Chance started his career with C&D Technologies in February of 2018. He currently leads C&D’s Corporate Laboratory where his work focuses on new product rating, battery failure mode analysis, and electrical characteristics and capacity testing. Chance graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management. Prior to working at C&D, Chance was an Instrumentation Scientist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). At NOAA, Chance’s work primarily involved a balloon-borne instrument that measured ozone via an electrochemical reaction. Chance attended his first IEEE ESSB meeting in Phoenix this year and plans to continue serving as an active committee member.
